Reverse description Central field depicts a stylized frontal bust, likely a representation of Saint Wenceslaus, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The saint is shown with a cruciform sceptre or staff to the right and a further ceremonial object to the left, rendered in the schematic Romanesque style consistent with Bohemian deniers of the period. The outer legend reads SCVS WENCEZLAVS, identifying the patron saint of Bohemia, with letters distributed around the flan perimeter in the irregular arrangement typical of hammered coinage of the mid-eleventh century.
