Obverse description Archbishop Wilbrand enthroned facing, vested in pontifical robes, holding a crozier in his left hand and a processional cross in his right; the figure is depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner within a beaded inner circle. A Latin legend in Gothic minuscule or early Gothic script surrounds the central device between the inner beaded border and the outer raised rim.
