Reverse description As a bracteate, this coin is struck on a single thin flan from one die only, resulting in a mirror-image incuse impression on the reverse. The reverse therefore shows the negative relief of the obverse design — the cross and surrounding legend appear as a shallow, incuse counterpart to the raised obverse. The surface is plain and undecorated, consistent with standard bracteate production technique of medieval Central European ecclesiastical mints.
