Reverse description As a bracteate, this coin was struck from a single die on a thin flan, producing an incuse mirror-image impression on the reverse. The reverse shows the corresponding hollow relief of the obverse type: the vertical staff, flanking pellet clusters, and diagonal horn or wing element are all visible in negative, sunken form. The surface is unadorned and without legend, consistent with the bracteate technique employed throughout the Pomeranian denier series of Swietopelk II.
