| Obverse description | Central cross pattée with flared terminals set within a plain inner circle, the four quarters between the arms each containing alternating fleurs-de-lis and quatrefoils in relief. The design is executed in the characteristic high-relief bracteate technique, with the motifs rendered boldly against the flat field. A beaded or rope-pattern border ring encircles the central design, itself contained within a raised outer rim that frames the entire coin. The strike is typical of late 12th-century Lower Saxon ecclesiastical minting, with the design occupying the full flan. |

| Reverse description | Uniface bracteate; the reverse is blank and shows the incuse mirror impression of the obverse design, as is characteristic of the bracteate coinage technique, with the cross pattée and alternating fleurs-de-lis and quatrefoils visible in intaglio through the thin silver flan. |
