| Obverse description | Within a plain beaded inner circle, a crossed key and sword arranged saltire-wise, their shafts meeting at center, forming the episcopal symbols of the Bishopric of Naumburg. The design is rendered in low relief characteristic of bracteate coinage, with the motif occupying the full field within the inner ring. The outer border is an irregular raised rim typical of hand-struck bracteates of the mid-fifteenth century. |

| Reverse description | Blank, as is standard for bracteate coinage, which is struck from a single die on a thin flan, leaving the reverse as an incuse mirror image of the obverse rather than a separately designed face. |
