Obverse description Single-sided bracteate struck in thin silver sheet, displaying two confronted busts facing one another within a plain inner circle. The busts are rendered in a schematic Romanesque style with simplified facial features, crowns or helmets indicated atop each head, and a small heraldic device or crown motif positioned between them in the lower field. The overall design composition is centrally arranged and characteristic of mid-thirteenth-century Moravian bracteate coinage issued under Margrave Ottokar II.
