Obverse description Uniface bracteate struck on a thin, broad flan with characteristic irregular edges. Central design within a raised inner circle depicts a frontal royal figure, identified as Ottokar II, rendered in the Romanesque-Gothic transitional style typical of Bohemian bracteates of the mid-thirteenth century. The figure appears enthroned or standing, displaying attributes of royal authority, flanked by stylized heraldic or architectural elements in the field. The thin silver flan exhibits the characteristic convex relief of the bracteate technique, with the design raised on the obverse and incuse on the reverse.
