| Obverse description | Uniface bracteate struck in thin hammered silver. The central design features a cross with flared arms dividing the inner field into four quadrants, enclosed within a raised inner circle. In the upper two quadrants, a stylized royal crown or triple-towered architectural motif is depicted, while the lower two quadrants contain heraldic shield-like devices, possibly representing the Bohemian lion or royal insignia. The entire composition is framed by a broad, flat rim typical of Central European bracteate coinage of the 13th century. The flan is irregular and slightly cracked at the edges, consistent with the hammered bracteate production technique. |
