Obverse description Frontal bust of a crowned ruler, depicted in armour with a beaded collar, occupying the central field. The figure raises one arm holding a sceptre or banner to the left, while the opposite arm extends outward. Below the bust appears a stylised architectural base or throne element with beaded ornament, flanked by small tower-like structures. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border characteristic of Moravian bracteate coinage of the mid-thirteenth century.
