Obverse description Two facing busts depicted side by side in schematic Romanesque style, their heads touching or nearly so, surmounted by an architectural arch rendered as a series of horizontal parallel lines suggesting a gateway or arcade. Below the busts appears a horizontal band bearing a retrograde or abbreviated Latin legend, with a row of vertical strokes forming a comb-like decorative border at the base of the flan. The overall composition is struck on a thin, irregularly shaped silver flan characteristic of Polish medieval bracteate coinage, with the design rendered in bold low relief.
Obverse script Latin
