| Obverse description | Single-sided bracteate struck in thin silver. The central field displays a composite heraldic device comprising an eagle displayed to the left alongside a fortified tower or castle element, the two motifs separated by a vertical beaded line. The design is enclosed within a plain inner circle, beyond which runs a border of stylised pseudo-legend composed of ornamental letter-like elements and pellets, characteristic of the bracteate coinage of Mieszko III the Old. A decorative foliate or fleur-de-lis finial surmounts the central device at twelve o'clock. The overall execution is bold but irregular, consistent with hammered provincial die work of late twelfth-century Greater Poland. |

| Reverse description | As a bracteate, this coin has no true reverse; the reverse face shows only the incuse mirror impression of the obverse design, with the central heraldic composition and surrounding ornamental border visible in shallow negative relief. The surface is plain and unmarked, typical of single-sided bracteate fabric. |
