| Obverse description | A stylized lion passant to the left occupies the central field, rendered in a bold Romanesque manner with a prominently striated mane depicted as a series of concentric arched lines, a dot positioned above the figure. The beast is shown with forelegs extended and hindquarters lowered, its tail curling upward over its back. The central device is enclosed within a double beaded inner circle, with a further outer border. A surrounding legend in Latin characters runs between the inner and outer borders, partially legible due to the characteristic thin flan of the bracteate technique. |
