Obverse description Half-length frontal effigy of a bishop wearing a mitra (mitre), with a star device above, flanked on either side by a palm branch. The central figure is enclosed within a border of ten arched segments, each adorned with angled or diagonal crosses, forming a decorative architectural canopy around the episcopal portrait. The composition is characteristic of German bracteate coinage of the early 13th century, with bold, stylized relief typical of the Swabian ecclesiastical minting tradition.
