Obverse description Central shield bearing the arms of Schaumburg, depicted with a nettle-leaf outline typical of the region's heraldic tradition, set within an ornate pointed cartouche. The date is divided across the field, with the first two digits appearing at the upper portion and the remaining digits flanking the shield to the left and right. The design is rendered in the bracteate tradition, struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan with the design appearing in low relief. No legend is present; the composition is purely armorial with the divided date serving as the sole inscription.

Obverse lettering 1627
Reverse description Blank, as is characteristic of bracteate coinage, where the thin flan results in an incuse mirror impression of the obverse design on the reverse surface with no intentional design or lettering.
