Obverse description Frontal bust of a seated abbot rendered in high relief within a beaded inner circle, holding a crozier to the left and a book (Bible) in the right hand, depicted in a highly stylized Romanesque manner. The figure wears a mitre and ecclesiastical vestments with visible decorative detailing on the chest. Fragmentary Latin legend appears at the outer border, partially legible around the periphery. The overall design is characteristic of late 13th- to early 14th-century German ecclesiastical bracteate coinage, with the inner field slightly convex due to the single-die striking technique.
