| Obverse description | Frontal effigy of an enthroned ruler depicted in a schematic, Romanesque style, the figure seated facing and holding a scepter in each outstretched hand. The composition is flanked on either side by a stylized tower, rendered in low relief as simple architectural elements. The design occupies the central field of the bracteate flan, enclosed within a plain inner border and a broad, raised outer rim with a scalloped edge characteristic of thin hammered bracteate coinage. No legend or inscription is present in the field. |
