Reverse description As a true bracteate, this coin was struck from a single die, and the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design. The lion mask motif appears in intaglio, with the raised features of the obverse corresponding to recessed cavities on the reverse. The thin silver flan shows characteristic stress fractures and surface irregularities consistent with the bracteate hammering technique, with a raised border ring visible around the incuse central field.
