Obverse description Single-sided bracteate struck in thin silver sheet, displaying a stylized radiate or spoke-wheel motif at center, formed by multiple curved and interlocking arms radiating outward from a raised central boss, evoking a pinwheel or whirl design characteristic of late medieval Lower Saxon bracteate coinage. The central device is enclosed within a plain raised inner ring, itself set within the broad, slightly concave field typical of the bracteate format. The rim is formed by a smooth, raised border following the coin's irregular hammered edge. No inscriptions or legends are present; the design relies entirely on the abstract geometric motif. The execution reflects the provincial die-cutting style prevalent in Brunswick civic coinage of the late 13th to early 15th century.
