Obverse description Bracteate type struck on a thin silver flan with a characteristic concave profile. The heraldic lion of Brunswick is depicted passant to the left, its head turned en face toward the viewer, rendered in a stylized medieval manner with pellet detailing. Below the lion's body appears a pot or vessel with a handle, serving as an additional civic or workshop symbol. The design occupies the central field, surrounded by a plain raised border typical of North German bracteate coinage of the late medieval period. No legend is present.
