| Obverse description | A double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, the two heads facing outward to left and right respectively, rendered in low relief characteristic of bracteate coinage. The eagle's body is centrally positioned with stylized feathering indicated by incised lines across the wings and breast. The entire device is contained within a double beaded border, forming a concentric circular frame. The flan is irregularly shaped, as typical of medieval hammered bracteates, with the design appearing in slight convex relief on the obverse and as a corresponding concave impression on the reverse. |
