Reverse description Within a beaded border, a dynamic scene depicting a mounted knight or ruler on horseback facing left, rendered in a bold but crude Romanesque engraving style typical of 12th-century Polish deniers. The horse and rider are executed with schematic vigor, with traces of additional design elements in the lower field. Fragmentary inscription characters are discernible along the upper portion of the border, though the legends are largely illegible owing to the primitive die-cutting and irregular flan.
