Reverse description A mounted prince depicted in profile to the left, seated upon a horse in a schematic, flat rendering typical of early Piast coinage. A cross appears behind the rider in the upper field, serving as a dynastic and Christian symbol of authority. Beneath the horse, a multi-pellet rosette ornament is prominently placed in the lower field. The composition is contained within an irregular flan with a beaded border, and the entire design is executed in the bold, simplified style of 11th-century Polish hammered coinage.
