| Obverse description | Central voided cross dividing the field into four quarters, with the abbreviated ruler's legend distributed around the cross arms. The lettering BOLI appears in the angles of the cross, rendered in a primitive Romanesque hand characteristic of late 12th-century Polish bracteate-related coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. |
