Reverse description The reverse presents two facing bust effigies in the upper field, rendered frontally in the schematic Romanesque style, with pellet ornaments between and around the heads. Below the busts, a horizontal line divides the field, beneath which appears an arcade or architectural motif with rounded arches supported by columns, a design element associated with ecclesiastical or palatial iconography of the Piast period. The lower register contains a beaded border strip. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hand-hammered medieval coinage of the period.
