Obverse description Central field features a stylized hand issuing from below, likely a manus Dei or ducal hand motif, enclosed within a beaded inner circle surmounted by a crown or architectural element. A small annulet appears to the left and a Maltese-style cross to the right within the inner circle. The surrounding legend reads +BOLESLAVS DVX in Latin characters, distributed around the periphery of the flan in the characteristic irregular style of Bohemian hammered coinage of the late tenth century.
