Reverse description Central field features a cross within a circular beaded inner ring, with the letters B, E, N arranged around the cross in the outer field, referencing Bishop Berenguer. The cross is depicted in a stylized, rounded form with a lobate or annulet motif at the center, consistent with Ottonian and Salian period episcopal coinage conventions. The flan is irregular with a roughly circular outline, and the design elements are rendered in the crude but expressive style typical of 11th-century hammered silver deniers from the Upper Rhine region.
