Obverse description Frontal crowned royal effigy rendered in a stylized, archaic manner, featuring a prominent horizontal bar representing the crown, adorned with pellets and floral elements above. Below the crown, a heavily stylized face is indicated by schematic features, with a pronounced lock or mass of hair flanking either side of the bust. The design is executed in the flat, linear style characteristic of Hungarian medieval hammered coinage, set within a plain field on an irregularly shaped flan.
