Obverse description Central cross pattée within a beaded inner circle, with pellets ornaments decorating the first and fourth quarters of the cross. The design is rendered in a bold, flat relief typical of 12th-century episcopal billon coinage. The surrounding annular field carries the bishop's name and title in a continuous Latin legend. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, as characteristic of hammered medieval deniers.

Reverse description A Carolingian monogram occupying the central field within a beaded inner circle, formed by interlaced letters composing the name of the issuing see in the tradition inherited from Carolingian royal coinage. The monogram is boldly struck in high relief against a flat field. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design in the outer field, identifying the episcopal mint of Beauvais. The overall style reflects the persistence of Carolingian iconographic conventions in 12th-century French ecclesiastical coinage.
