Obverse description Bust of Saint Domitian facing right, holding a crozier before him, rendered in the crude Romanesque style typical of 11th-century episcopal deniers. The effigy is depicted with schematic drapery and stylized facial features characteristic of hammered coinage of the Meuse valley.
