Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, a stylized architectural structure consisting of a row of columns or arcade surmounted by three prominent towers with rounded finials, each tower decorated with pellets. Two six-pointed stars flank the central tower in the upper field. The overall composition is rendered in a bold, simplified Romanesque style characteristic of 12th-century German bracteate-influenced coinage.

Reverse description Within a beaded inner circle enclosed by a plain outer border, a plain cross divides the field into four quarters, each containing a single large pellet or globule positioned centrally in the angle. The design is stark and unadorned, typical of anonymous 12th-century German pfennig coinage. A partial and fragmentary legend reading IING appears around the periphery.
