Obverse description Stylized frontal view of a multi-turreted castle rendered in a schematic, Romanesque manner, with three towers visible above a crenellated curtain wall featuring two arched gate openings. A cross surmounts the central tower, flanked by a star to the upper left and a crescent or mintmark to the upper right, with additional mintmarks positioned to either side of the central keep. The legend CASTELA appears in the lower field, inscribed in Gothic Latin characters along the lower rim.
