Obverse description Stylised architectural facade depicting a fortified castle or city gate, featuring a central arched portal with crosshatched decoration, flanked by two lateral towers with vertical lines suggesting masonry. Above the central arch rises a prominent tower surmounted by a globus cruciger or orbed finial. To the left of the structure a crozier (pastoral staff) is visible, and to the right a processional cross-flag, emblems of archiepiscopal authority. The design is rendered in the bold, schematic style characteristic of Rhenish hammered coinage of the late 12th and early 13th centuries.
