Obverse description A plain cross patée centered in the field, with a single pellet in each of the four angles formed by the arms of the cross. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a legend in the outer field. The overall style is characteristic of early twelfth-century German ecclesiastical bracteate-related coinage, struck by hand with irregular flan edges.

Reverse description A frontal depiction of a three-towered Romanesque church facade, rendered in stylized relief typical of medieval ecclesiastical deniers. The central tower is the tallest, flanked by two smaller towers of equal height, all rising from a stepped or arcaded base. A figure or finial surmounts the central tower. The composition fills the flan and is enclosed within a beaded inner circle with a legend running in the outer field.
