| Obverse description | Cyrillic legend arranged in three lines within a raised inner circle, all surrounded by a beaded border. The inscription reads the abbreviated title of the Grand Prince, presented in characteristic medieval Russian wire-style lettering. The field is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck hammered coinage of the Moscow principality in the early fifteenth century. |
