Obverse description Armored horseman facing right, mounted on a galloping horse, brandishing a raised sabre in his right hand. The figure is rendered in the characteristic flat, schematic style of late Muscovite wire money, with the horse's legs shown in full stride. A Cyrillic inscription occupies the upper field above the equestrian motif, partially visible due to the irregular flan typical of this denomination. The design follows the established iconographic tradition of the Russian denga, ultimately derived from the mounted warrior type introduced in the sixteenth century.
