Reverse description Irregular hammered flan displaying a central motif consisting of a stylized geometric or heraldic device, possibly a cross or tamga-derived symbol, enclosed within a beaded circular border. Pellets are visible in the field adjacent to the central design, a common decorative element on Tver dengas of this period. The Cyrillic peripheral legend ТВЕРСКОЙ encircles the design, denoting the Tver principality. The strike is typical of late medieval Russian hammered coinage, with irregular flan edges and variable depth of impression.
