Obverse description Obverse of this hammered silver denga displays a horseman figure in profile facing right, rendered in the crude, sketch-like style characteristic of early 16th-century Muscovite wire money. The rider appears mounted on a galloping horse, with a spear or lance held aloft. The design is struck on an irregular, planchet with a characteristic elongated oval shape. The surface shows typical die-struck relief with uneven flan preparation and natural porosity consistent with period hammered coinage. Cyrillic legend fragments are visible in the field around the central motif.
