Obverse description Central field occupied by a Cyrillic legend arranged in multiple lines reading КНЯЗЬ ДАНИЛО, attributing the coin to Prince Daniil. The lettering is rendered in the bold, angular style characteristic of early 15th-century Russian hammered coinage. A dotted border encircles the inscription field, with scattered annulets visible in the lower portion of the field. The flan is irregular in shape with an uneven, hand-cut edge typical of hammered wire-cut blanks of the period.
