Reverse description A crenellated tower rendered in a stylized medieval manner occupies the central field, rising above two crossed scepters adorned with lily-shaped finials. The design is bisected by the crossed scepters, emblematic of patriarchal authority, with the tower serving as a heraldic device of the della Torre family. The encircling Latin legend is divided by the central device into two halves. The scyphate fabric imparts a characteristic bowl-like curvature to the overall composition.
