| Obverse description | Central Tyrolean double cross with multiple radiating arms extending toward the coin's border, set within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the field into quadrants, each adorned with small ornamental devices. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters runs along the outer border between two beaded rims, referencing the see of Aquileia. The overall design is characteristic of late medieval northern Italian hammered coinage, displaying bold, flat relief typical of the period. |

| Reverse description | Central design featuring a cushion or tasseled pillow with a crosshatched globus surmounting it, flanked by small decorative flourishes on either side, all enclosed within a beaded inner oval border. Below the cushion, a large Gothic minuscule 'm' occupies the lower field, serving as an initial for the patriarch's name. The surrounding circular legend in uncial Latin script names Marquard as Patriarch. Ornamental stops and quatrefoil devices punctuate the legend at intervals, consistent with the ecclesiastical coinage conventions of the Aquileia Patriarchate. |
