| Obverse description | Frontal bust of a bishop or archbishop in high relief, depicted wearing a mitre and episcopal vestments with decorative detail at the collar. The figure is flanked on either side by a tall column or pillar, framing the effigy symmetrically within the field. A beaded inner circle surrounds the central design, itself enclosed by a plain border following the irregular flan edge. The overall style is characteristic of Friesach-type coinage, with bold, somewhat schematic rendering of the ecclesiastical figure typical of mid-12th-century Alpine and northern Italian hammered silver. |

| Reverse description | Central tower or church facade depicted in stylized architectural form, flanked by two standing figures, likely representing saints or ecclesiastical dignitaries, each rendered in a frontal, hieratic posture. Below the central structure, a row of four or five pellets forms a decorative base, evoking an arcade or architectural foundation. A beaded inner circle encloses the entire composition, which is surrounded by a plain outer border consistent with the irregular hammered flan. The design closely follows the iconographic conventions of Friesach denarii produced in Carinthia, adapted here by the Patriarchate of Aquileia. |
