| Reverse description | Central device consisting of a voided Milanese floriated cross, with each arm terminating in a trilobed foliate finial, creating a highly decorative and symmetrical cruciform design. The cross is set within a plain inner field, surrounded by a continuous circular legend naming the lord. A beaded border frames the outer edge of the flan. The floriated cross type is characteristic of Milanese-influenced coinage of the Visconti signoria period. The irregular flan edges are consistent with hand-hammered production of the mid-14th century. |
