| Obverse description | Facing bust of a bishop in episcopal vestments, rendered in a stylized Romanesque manner. A crozier is depicted to the left of the bust, with a star to the right. A quatrefoil or cross ornament appears above the figure. The design is struck in low relief with the broad, flat characteristics typical of 12th-century northern Italian hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | Three towers arranged side by side, each surmounted by a cross or quatrefoil ornament, set upon a semicircular arch composed of six pellets. Two pellets appear in the lower field beneath the arch, framing the base of the composition. The architectural motif is rendered in a schematic, stylized fashion consistent with medieval Italian denaro coinage of the period. |
