Obverse description Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, rendered in the Roman veristic portrait tradition with strongly individualised features. The legend is disposed around the periphery of the flan in Latin capitals. The portrait displays characteristic drapery at the truncation of the neck, and the laurel wreath is rendered with fine detail typical of early Flavian imperial coinage. The flan is of irregular, hand-cut fabric consistent with hammered production.

Reverse description Confronted bare heads of Titus, facing right, and Domitian, facing left, depicted as equal heirs of the Flavian dynasty. The two busts are placed centrally on the flan with the legend disposed around them in two segments, identifying each prince by his imperial titles. The composition is a rare and distinctive type celebrating the dynastic succession of Vespasian's two sons. The portrait style is consistent with early Flavian engraving, with simplified but recognisable facial features for each prince.
