Reverse description The personification of Securitas (Security) seated right on a throne or chair, her figure shown in a relaxed pose with her head slightly bowed or resting, one arm raised toward her head in a gesture of repose — the canonical representation of Securitas in contemplative rest. A sceptre or similar attribute is held in one hand. The reverse legend encircles the central type, recording Vespasian's accumulated titles for the year AD 75. The field is otherwise plain, consistent with Rome mint production of this period.
