Reverse description The winged figure of Victory advances left across the field, rendered in full stride with drapery flowing behind her. Her extended right arm raises a wreath toward the left, while her left hand trails a long palm branch angled diagonally across her body. The figure is depicted with considerable dynamism, consistent with early Flavian die-cutting style. The legend PACI AVGVSTAE is distributed in the field to either side of the figure, celebrating the Augustan peace proclaimed by the new Flavian dynasty following the civil wars of 69 AD.
