Reverse description Victory, draped and striding left, depicted in dynamic motion as she raises a circular shield with both hands to mount it upon a trophy. At the base of the trophy sits a female personification of Judaea in a pose of mourning, turned to the left, referencing Rome's suppression of the Jewish revolt and the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. The reverse type commemorates the Flavian triumph over Judaea and is closely related to the celebrated Judaea Capta series. The legend EX S C appears in the field, denoting senatorial authority for the issue.
