Obverse description Laureate draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the naturalistic portrait style characteristic of Trajanic coinage. The emperor's strong profile features a prominent brow and closely cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The paludamentum (military cloak) is visible at the shoulder, secured at the chest. The encircling legend fills the field around the effigy, reading from the lower left in Latin capitals.
