| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, draped at the shoulder, rendered in the firm, idealized portrait style characteristic of Trajanic imperial coinage. The emperor's features are boldly defined, with a strong jaw and short-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The legend encircles the bust along the periphery, beginning at the lower left and running clockwise. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hand-struck Roman silver coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | Standing figure of Pietas facing left, veiled and draped in long robes, her right hand raised in a gesture of prayer or offering and her left hand holding an acerra (incense box) or patera. The personification is rendered in a static, hieratic pose befitting her divine role as the embodiment of Roman piety and duty. The circular legend surrounds the figure along the coin's periphery, with the abbreviated titles of Trajan and the dedication to Pietas clearly legible. The flat, wide field typical of Trajanic denarii frames the reverse type with understated authority. |
